Notice concerning COVID-19 infection at a Chiyoda Office in Western Japan

On November 23rd, one employees working at a Chiyoda Office in Western Japan was confirmed positive for COVID19. The said employee became sick on November 21st and received a positive PCR test result on November 23rd.

In accordance with instructions from the local public health center, the said employee is currently hospitalized. Three close contacts at the working place were tested negative. The work place was cleaned and disinfected.

Chiyoda Corporation established its “COVID19 Crisis Control Center” on January 30 to prevent the spread of COVID19 in the workplace protecting employees' health and wellbeing. In that regard various measurements, such as a shift to tele-work, regular office disinfection, promotion of flexible working hours are implemented to endeavor best practices for the safety and health of all employees.
