Chiyoda entered into Metals and Mining business fields with PT Smelting copper smelter and refinery construction project in Gresik, Indonesia, which we awarded in 1996. In addition, Chiyoda awarded SX-EW project of Myanmar Ivanhoe Copper Company Limited in Myanmar in nearly the same time. Chiyoda is a contractor who has experiences in both prrometallurgical and hydromatallurgical process of copper.

In addition to copper smelting, construction of titanium manufacturing plant, nickel smelter, polycrystalline silicon plant, metal recycling plant, making full use of engineering technology and project execution capabilities cultivated thorough rare earth related projects such as neodymium magnets, rera metal related projects such as lithium refineing studies at salt lake.

Understanding of Owner's Process

Chiyoda will optimally design based on fully usnderstanding the characteristics of the Owner's proprietary process or specific licensors process.

Development of Process

Chioyda is able to propose feasible solutions through demonstaration test at our laboratory in process development and process improvement to the strengthening of environmental regulations. Furthermore, Chiyoda responds to Client's request from the verification test to the plant scale up.

Coordination with Overseas Licensors

In the case of appling overseas licensors, Chiyoda coordinates various work between Client and overseas licensors.

Project Life Cycle Engineering

Chiyoda responds to Client's needs in every phase from master planinng through engineering, procurement and construction to oeration & maintenance phase.
