Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Emissions Reduction
As key management issues, the Chiyoda Group are addressing global environmental challenges and responding to climate change in line with our corporate philosophy of ‘Energy and Environment in Harmony’.
The group has established new medium to long-term greenhouse gas (GHG) emission targets towards realizing carbon neutrality by 2050, and will contribute to achieving this goal by combining our engineering capabilities with innovative digital technology.
Carbon neutral Declaration
*Our FY 2030 medium-term target for Scope 1 and 2 will be achieved through internal endeavors in our Minato Mirai Headquarters and Koyasu Research Park office and by collaborating with clients, partners and suppliers on our domestic and international construction sites.
*We will cooperate with all stakeholders to reduce GHG emissions in Scope 3, contributing to carbon-recycling and the realization of a decarbonized society by optimizing the social implementation of innovative technology.
*GHG emission reduction plans will be regularly reviewed according to technological developments, economic conditions and policy/institutional support.
We will collaborate with all stakeholders as ‘One Team’, supporting our internal endeavors towards realizing a sustainable society by promoting a carbon-recycling society and reducing GHG emissions through technology.
