New coronavirus– Case within Chiyoda Corporation Global Headquarters (CGH)

On August 15, 2020, it was confirmed that one of our employees had tested positive for the new coronavirus. The said employee was working in CGH until August 6, and had been working from home and on holidays thereafter. The employee felt unwell and got PCR test, resulting positive. For the sake of safety, 8 possible close contacts amongst our employees are standby at home and under checking by the local public health center while the office around the said employee is being disinfected.

Chiyoda Corporation established its New Coronavirus Crisis Control Center on January 30, 2020 to prevent infection and to protect its employees' health, and has been implementing measures such as avoiding non-urgent face-to-face meetings, implementing thorough office disinfection, and encouraging work from home and staggered working hours. Our company has continued to prevent the spread of infections and maintain best practices to ensure the health of all employees.
