New coronavirus– Case within Chiyoda Corporation Global Headquarters (CGH)

On April 24, 2020, it was confirmed that one of our temporary employee had a positive response to the new coronavirus. The temporary employee is now in a hospital. The temporary employee worked at CGH until March10, but has been voluntary working at home thereafter. Accordingly, there are no close contacts with the temporary employee.
Chiyoda Corporation closed its “Global Headquarters” and “Koyasu Office & Research Park” (both located in Yokohama, Japan) from March 27 in order to possibly reduce the spread of CoViD-19. All Chiyoda employees are encouraged to work remotely.
In compliance with the government’s guidelines, we will continue our efforts to prevent the spread of the infection and maintain best practices to ensure the health of each individual working for Chiyoda as a company.
