Receiving Terminals

Japan is one of the largest consumers of LNG in the world, with many dedicated LNG import terminals across the country. Since constructing Japan’s first LNG terminal in 1969, Chiyoda Group has contributed to the safe and reliable stable supply of clean energy to satisfy local demand by collaborating with customers, such as electric power and city gas companies, in the engineering design and construction of the majority of Japan’s LNG terminals, including environmental impact assessments to evaluate proposed new locations.

Chiyoda Group continues to contribute to the realization of a carbon neutral society by leveraging its extensive low temperature fluid experience in collaboration with customers and partners on the construction of new facilities to receive and supply fuel ammonia and liquid hydrogen.
