Chiyoda has been awarded and is currently executing the Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) contract from Saibu Gas Co., Ltd for plant facilities to enhance the capacity of their Hibiki LNG Base, adding an additional LNG tank (to the two currently in operation).

Since constructing Japan's first LNG receiving terminal in 1969, Chiyoda has built numerous LNG receiving terminals for electric power and city gas companies, achieving a top-class track record. As an integrated engineering company, Chiyoda applies its technical expertise and project execution experience to support the stable supply of LNG as a key energy source towards achieving carbon neutrality.
